MCAS Yuma and Luke AFB Airshow

The MCAS Yuma Airshow is a signature event for the Yuma Community. The event encompassed military & civilian air acts, modern aircraft displays and ground performances such as 'Shockwave'.

Marine Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron One is a United States Marine Corps operational test squadron consisting of multiple aircraft types. The squadron is based at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona. The F-35B Lightning II is seen here in vertical take-off and landing configuration.

On the same weekend MCAS Yuma held their airshow, Luke Air Force Base hosted Luke Days. This year's air show featured the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels, B-17 Sentimental Journey, Tora Tora, as well as a tactical demonstration by the resident units at Luke AFB.
